What: Robert DeMotte Workshops will be conducting 2 very intensive hypnosis training courses in November. This training is open to MFTs, LCSWs, LEPs, Dentists and their assistants, as well as members of the general public.
1. 12-hour workshop. Subjects covered, for both mental health therapists and dental professionals will teach how to develop a trance state in the client/patient. Hands-on skills with close supervision will provide skills in inducing direct and indirect levels of hypnosis. In dental offices, hypnotic trance (even on a superficial level) has enormous benefit in reducing pain, alleviating fear of injections, and the gag reflex. In the mental health field, it allows the therapist to find the true source of their client’s unwanted habit or behavior.
2. 48-hour workshop. For those wishing to partake of a comprehensive, working knowledge of hypnosis, with many hours of supervised practice, Robert DeMotte Workshops will be offering a 48-hour course. Subjects covered (but not limited to the following) include the history of hypnosis, how the mind accepts suggestion, pacing and leading, anchoring, double-binds, trance deepening techniques, 10 unique inductions, representational systems, trans-derivational searches, language skills, advertising, and running a hypnotherapy business.

12-hour workshop: November13-14 (Saturday and Sunday). Hours: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
48-hour workshop: November 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 (Monday through Saturday). Hours 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Continuing Education for MFTs and LCSWs: While the 48-hour course exceeds the number of required CEUs by 12 hours, we have found it necessary to offer the additional time in order that the therapist receive sufficient practice time. This fosters a high level of confidence which naturally follows a profound familiarity with various induction techniques. The last thing any therapist wants in the induction of hypnosis is to be unsure of what to do next, should the expected trance depth not be achieved. This training will eliminate all insecurity. Attendees will receive credit for 12 hours for attendance at our 2-day workshop.
Continuing Education Credit: Provider #PCE 3265. Course meets the qualifications for 36 hours of continuing education credit for MFTs and/or LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.

12-hour workshop: $195.
48-hour workshop: $780.

Refunds: Should the student need to drop out of this course for any reason, he or she will receive a 70% refund at the end of the first full day of class. There will be no refunds after that time as the workshop is dependent upon a full complement of attendees in order that we man offer unique practice with individuals who respond differently to the induction process. A 90% refund is due the registrant if he or she cancels registration more than 10 days prior to first day of class. If cancellation is within 10 days of first class, the 70% refund applies.
Two or more registering together: Registrants who refer a friend (who also registers), will give a 5% discount.
All attendees receive a beautiful certificate, suitable for public display.
